Václav Havel Airport Prague offers several of its own car parks directly at the terminals. For long-term parking, however, many travellers compare official P1/P2/P3 parking with a private off-airport car park nearby. The main question is simple: what is the real price difference, and what do you get for the money?
Official airport parking prices
- P1 and P2 are the most convenient covered garages directly at the terminals, but for a weekly stay they are among the most expensive options.
- P3 is a more economical outdoor option, but it is still usually more expensive than private parking with shuttle.
- P5 Holiday can be cheaper than P1/P2, but capacity fills up quickly in the season.
Private parking near the airport
Our car parks in Horoměřice and on Drnovská work as off-airport parking with the airport shuttle included in the parking price. You pay for the whole parking period, not for every started hour in a garage, and you see the final price before sending the reservation.

Real saving on weekly parking
For a week-long holiday, the difference between an airport garage and a private car park is usually the most visible. Covered garages make sense for a short stay or maximum comfort. For a week or longer, private parking with shuttle usually wins on value.

When P1/P2 is worth it and when it is not
A covered garage is worth it mainly for short trips, when you want to be as close to the airport pickup point as possible and price is not decisive. If you are flying on holiday, a several-day business trip or need long-term parking, private parking with shuttle usually offers a better balance of price and convenience.

Four things are worth comparing: the total price for your dates (not the per-day price, which can be misleading), the distance and transport to the terminal, what happens to your car keys, and whether a reservation guarantees you a space. Official car parks at the terminal win on distance; long-stay car parks with a shuttle win on total price for stays of 2–3 days or more.
A typical summer week: what you pay with us
A week of parking with us costs 1,300 CZK in summer and 1,100 CZK in winter — the total price including the shuttle both ways, with no online payment and your keys staying with you. Prices of the official P1, P2 and other zones change with date and occupancy, so check the current price list on the airport website before comparing. When parking right at the airport makes sense
To be fair: if you are only dropping someone off, or flying within 24–48 hours and every minute counts, the short-term zones right at the terminal are more convenient. For holidays, longer business trips and families with luggage the price difference adds up quickly — and a shuttle with reserved capacity means you are not waiting even in peak season.
