Václav Havel Airport Prague has its own car parks right by the terminals — P1 and P2 covered, P3 outdoor with a shuttle bus. For longer stays, however, most travellers opt for private long-stay car parks nearby. What is the actual price difference in 2026?
Official airport parking prices (spring 2026)
- P1 (covered, Terminal 1): 1st day ~40 EUR, every additional day ~24 EUR. Week: approx. 180 EUR
- P2 (covered, Terminal 2): 1st day ~40 EUR, every additional day ~24 EUR. Week: approx. 180 EUR
- P3 (outdoor, economy with shuttle bus): daily rate ~13 EUR. Week: approx. 92 EUR
Private parking near the airport (Horoměřice & Drnovská)
- Week in summer 55 EUR, in winter 40 EUR
- Transfer to the terminal is included — no extra fees
- Two locations: Horoměřice (Hrdinů 92) and Drnovská in Prague 6 – Ruzyně
- Cash payment on site (CZK or EUR)
Real savings on a one-week stay
Comparing a 7-day stay in 2026:
- P1 / P2 (covered): 180 EUR
- P3 (economy with shuttle): 92 EUR
- Private (parkovani-ruzyne.cz): 55 EUR (winter rate 40 EUR)
- With discount code SAVE4EU: 51 EUR
Savings versus P1/P2 reach up to 130 EUR per trip. Versus P3 it's about 40 EUR — without having to take the shuttle bus. For a family that flies twice a year, that's roughly 250 EUR saved per year.
When does airport P1/P2 make sense and when not?
Covered parking P1/P2 only makes sense for short stays (up to 24 hours) or if you have an expensive car and want maximum comfort. For 2+ days a long-stay car park is clearly the better choice — the savings cover an extra hotel night.
