Prague Airport Parking 2026: P1, P2, P3 vs. private car parks — how much do you really save?

Václav Havel Airport Prague has its own car parks right by the terminals — P1 and P2 covered, P3 outdoor with a shuttle bus. For longer stays, however, most travellers opt for private long-stay car parks nearby. What is the actual price difference in 2026?

Official airport parking prices (spring 2026)

  • P1 (covered, Terminal 1): 1st day ~40 EUR, every additional day ~24 EUR. Week: approx. 180 EUR
  • P2 (covered, Terminal 2): 1st day ~40 EUR, every additional day ~24 EUR. Week: approx. 180 EUR
  • P3 (outdoor, economy with shuttle bus): daily rate ~13 EUR. Week: approx. 92 EUR

Private parking near the airport (Horoměřice & Drnovská)

  • Week in summer 55 EUR, in winter 40 EUR
  • Transfer to the terminal is included — no extra fees
  • Two locations: Horoměřice (Hrdinů 92) and Drnovská in Prague 6 – Ruzyně
  • Cash payment on site (CZK or EUR)

Real savings on a one-week stay

Comparing a 7-day stay in 2026:

  • P1 / P2 (covered): 180 EUR
  • P3 (economy with shuttle): 92 EUR
  • Private (parkovani-ruzyne.cz): 55 EUR (winter rate 40 EUR)
  • With discount code SAVE4EU: 51 EUR

Savings versus P1/P2 reach up to 130 EUR per trip. Versus P3 it's about 40 EUR — without having to take the shuttle bus. For a family that flies twice a year, that's roughly 250 EUR saved per year.

When does airport P1/P2 make sense and when not?

Covered parking P1/P2 only makes sense for short stays (up to 24 hours) or if you have an expensive car and want maximum comfort. For 2+ days a long-stay car park is clearly the better choice — the savings cover an extra hotel night.

Spring season is coming – how to avoid crowded airport parking in Prague

Spring and Easter traditionally bring the first summer-season rush at Václav Havel Airport Prague. Terminal car parks are usually full these days and prices surge. How to avoid it?

Book in advance – capacity is limited

Our long-stay car parks in Horoměřice and Drnovská have limited capacity. In the spring and summer season we recommend booking at least 3–7 days in advance. Reservation via parkovato.cz takes 2 minutes and is free of charge (no deposit required).

Advantages of long-stay car parks over terminal parking

  • Prices up to 5× lower than official parking at Prague Airport
  • Free shuttle to the airport and back — no additional fees
  • Peace of mind — your car waits in an enclosed compound

The discount code SLEVA2026 is currently valid — save 100 CZK on your online booking.

Long-stay vs. guarded parking at the airport – what's the difference?

Planning a flight and wondering where to leave your car? There are two main types of airport parking in Prague: guarded parking and long-stay parking. What's the difference and which is more advantageous for you?

What is long-stay parking?

A long-stay car park is an enclosed, fenced compound with a CCTV system where your car is safe — without on-site physical security. It's the cheapest option for airport parking in Prague. Our car parks in Horoměřice and Drnovská are exactly that — outdoor, uncovered, but inside a secure enclosed compound.

When to choose long-stay parking?

  • You're flying for a multi-day holiday or business trip
  • You want to save — prices are significantly lower than at the terminal
  • You need non-stop transfer to the airport and back
