Driving to Prague Airport from abroad: parking, vignette and a clear plan
Leaving your car in another country should not feel like a gamble. Here is everything an international driver needs: tolls, driving times, payment in euros, and a shuttle that is planned before you set off.
Everything confirmed before you cross the border
Booking runs fully in English with no prepayment. You get the exact address with GPS by email, the shuttle slot is reserved for your arrival time, and you pay in cash — CZK or EUR — only when you arrive.
Driving times to Prague Airport
Guide times for normal traffic, without longer breaks or border delays. Add a reserve for the Prague ring road, parking, payment, luggage and the shuttle.

The Czech e-vignette — sort it before you set off
Czech motorways are tolled through an electronic vignette tied to your number plate — there is no windscreen sticker. Buy it online at edalnice.cz (the official site, available in English) before your trip; a 10-day vignette covers a typical holiday return trip. The local roads from the motorway to both car parks are toll-free.
When to arrive at the car park
Reserve your arrival time at the car park, not your flight time. Count backwards: shuttle ride about 5 minutes, plus check-in, payment and luggage — arrive about 45 minutes before you want to stand at the terminal. For Schengen flights plan to be at the airport 2 hours before departure; with checked luggage outside Schengen, 2.5–3 hours.
Why international drivers choose us
Frequently asked by international drivers
Do I need a vignette to drive on Czech motorways?
Yes. Czech motorways are tolled via an electronic vignette linked to your number plate. Buy it online before your trip at edalnice.cz, the official site. Local roads to both car parks are toll-free.
Can I pay for parking in euros?
Yes. You pay in cash on arrival in CZK or EUR at a guide rate of approx. 25 CZK/EUR, so you do not need to exchange money. Card payments are not currently available.
Does the staff speak English?
Yes. Staff at the car park speak English, and the entire booking, confirmation and all emails are in English as well. For questions, WhatsApp or email works best.
What if my flight back is delayed?
Nothing changes. Collection after landing runs 24/7 and stays included in the price — call once you have your luggage, whenever you land.
Two worked examples
Couple from Vienna, 10:30 Schengen flight: e-vignette bought online the evening before, departure from Vienna at 4:45, arrival at the car park around 8:15 including a ring-road reserve. Shuttle at 8:30, terminal by 8:45 — exactly the comfortable two hours before departure. Parking for 7 days in summer: 1,300 CZK, paid in euros on arrival (approx. €52).
Family from Dresden, two weeks in summer: leave at 7:00, car park around 9:00, 11:30 flight with checked luggage. Parking 1,800 CZK total (approx. €72) — the shuttle takes all four of them and the luggage in one ride, and after landing two weeks later one phone call brings the shuttle back, even if the return flight lands at midnight.
