Checklist before driving to Prague Airport
A practical plan for driving to the airport: parking reservation, route timing, documents, luggage, payment on arrival and return pickup after landing.
How much time to allow before departure
The time you arrive at the car park is not the same as the time you reach the terminal. Between those two moments you still need to confirm the booking, park, pay, unload luggage, board the shuttle and drive to the airport pickup point. Arriving with a margin is much easier than trying to recover lost minutes at check-in.
Allow more time for early morning flights, rain, roadworks, families with children, larger groups or sports equipment. If you are arriving from abroad, check both the motorway route and the last kilometres around Prague Airport before leaving.
You still need parking, payment and transfer time.
Child seats, strollers and several bags make loading slower.

The day before your flight
- Check the arrival time and car-park address in the booking confirmation.

What to keep easy to reach
Do not bury the important things under luggage. Keep your booking confirmation, phone, travel documents and payment money easy to access. Pack bags in a way that makes unloading quick at the car park. If you travel with a stroller, child seat or oversized equipment, include that time in your arrival plan.
- Documents and phone: keep them with you, not deep in the boot.
- Payment: you pay on arrival at the car park in CZK or EUR.
- Luggage: pack so it can be moved quickly to the shuttle.
- Keys: you keep your car keys for the whole trip.
Arrival at the car park
Drive to the address confirmed in your reservation: Horoměřice or Drnovská. After arrival, follow the staff instructions, park your car, unload luggage, pay and take the shuttle to the airport pickup point. Do not drive to a different location because of an old map search or a previous trip.
If you are unsure which location fits your route, read Drnovská or Horoměřice before leaving. If the booking confirmation already names one address, use that address.
After landing back in Prague
After landing, collect your luggage first. If you travel with cabin bags only, call when you are ready to walk to the agreed pickup point. The driver will tell you where to go and will take you back to your car.
